Our story

Dr. Ajay Patwardhan, Founder & Allopathic Doctor, was frustrated with swelling of his ankles & feet with no Diagnosis. Allopathic treatment was purely symptomatic, with no long-term relief in sight. 

He was advised to take high strength Turmeric  (50mg of Curcumin, the active ingredient / Capsule) capsules. He could not find even one brand in India. He had to get these capsules from USA.

He studied Ayurveda under guidance during the Covid period & thought of setting up Aloweda to blend best of Ayurveda with modern Allopathy & make Dietary Supplements, Skincare, Haircare & sex life products. 

Aloweda took first baby steps in 2021

    Former Global Medical Director of GE and founder of Herbalbox, Viron Wellness, and Aloweda. Medical advisor and researcher focused on blending allopathy with Ayurveda for wellness products.

  • Dr. Chitra Phadnis

    Operations Director with over 40 years of experience in Ayurvedic product research, development, and manufacturing at Madhur Pharma in Bangalore. The company specializes in contract manufacturing a full range of dietary supplements and personal care products.

  • Dr. Atul Gadkari
